pebble skimming

Yildizburnu, Cesme, Izmir
There is nothing quite so satisfying as the feeling derived from hurling a small rock at a sea and watching it bounce repeatedly.
I saw these guys at 6:00 in the morning, trying to throw the pebbles as far as they can. They were competing to make the stone bounce as many times as possible.

vacant

Cesme, Izmir
In Cesme, set your clock to wake up as early as possible. In summer, the early morning's breeze beside the beach feels wonderful, and that is the best time to search for a place to sit and watch the sunrise .

japanese photography

Kenji Kawamoto during his presentation, Izmir
Previous day, I attended to a presentation on chronology of significant events and photographers in the history of Japanese photography presented by Kenji Kawamoto.
It was very interesting to know about Japanese photography's expansion and development of its own identity and how Japanese fine-art photography achieved a worldwide recognition with such names as Araki, Sugimoto, etc...
Event hosted by Çizgelikedi, a visual arts initiative.
Thanks to Kenji Kawamoto, Arzu Filiz Güngör and Yalçın Çıdamlı for their efforts.
