"tire" is a district of izmir province. it's one of the largest towns in the area and situated 82 km southeast of izmir. "tire's" long cultural heritage includes periods under the hittites, phrygians, lydians, persians, romans, byzantines and ottomans. the town has an attractive old quarter with many impressive examples of Islamic architecture.kendi çevresindeki en büyük yerleşim merkezi olan "tire" ilçesi, izmir'in 82 km güneydoğusundadır.
