I view the path in my long life as quite rough in the beginning but always wide. Then it became smooth and is now since many years. Twisted? Only when I chose to go into sideways (which I do very often): it gives walking a more interesting twist to it.

It requires more courage to face the unknown than the known. A straight path, hides neither secret nor mystery at its end. But the path which twists hide each curve from the walker; what is just around the corner is unknown.
