My friend, thanks to Blognote I read about the court's suspension of access to Blogger in Turkey. It breaks my heart. May they soon grant your return! I will look for you every day.

Wow. Really different. I like the shot.

I am 74 years old -- today is my birthday.

Words can’t adequately express how I feel while reading your comments.

Despite the fact I haven't get the chance to meet you in person except Diederick (Blognote), this proves friendship on the web can absolutely be real.

Thank you for your concern & incredible support.

I found a backdoor to connect my blog and to the others via www.ktunnel.com but I can only answer and leave comments but can't update my site.

At this point, thanks to Elaine's idea, probably a friend living outside of Turkey will help me to update my blog.

I will let you know about developments on the banning issue here.

It feels good to be -partially- back.

Thanks again to all!

-Selim

Selim, we are all appalled and we miss you and your wonderful and inspiring photographs of your beautiful city.

Do hope that you get back to us soon. Helpful that you can publish via friend but we hope the ban is lifted and you have the freedom you should have.

Selim, I will help you out.
Please read my mail to your home address and contact me.

Selim-
I will be interested in following this turn of events. Your pictures are not only masterful but universal in their subject matter . . . they speak to everyone. This makes me stop and think about freedom that I take for granted. At least I can enjoy your archived photos while waiting for resolution.

What an awful situation, I've been reading on the forum. Hope you can work away round it soon.

I sincerely hope the censorship situtation is reversed soon. I know how devestated I would feel if this were to happen to me. Youa are a very gited photographer, we need you back.

Slim's idea of enjoying your archives is a good one. I haven't seen everything here, so I'll entertain myself that way. Brava to Elaine for her brilliant suggestion! Looking forward to your return, Selim. Whatever the court's reason for restricting access to Blogger, it could have had nothing to do with you. Your representations of Izmir are all beauty and heart.
