children's day

Today, 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day, in Turkey is a unique event. The founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, dedicated this day to the children of the country to emphasize that they are the future of the new nation.
Do you think today’s children have far less freedom than previous generations?

Nice. I like the atmosphere accented by the colorful balls.

Interesting photo, interesting question. I couldn't begin to answer for the children of Turkey. I heard a report today on the radio that the children of America suffer anxiety and obesity because their lives are over-planned. This is, apparently, because their parents try too hard to be good parents! (I oversimplify, of course.)
