pebble skimming

Yildizburnu, Cesme, Izmir
There is nothing quite so satisfying as the feeling derived from hurling a small rock at a sea and watching it bounce repeatedly.
I saw these guys at 6:00 in the morning, trying to throw the pebbles as far as they can. They were competing to make the stone bounce as many times as possible.

I'm not sure about the satisfaction of pebble throwing but I am sure about the beauty of your photo. Great subtle colours.

I haven't skimmed pebbles for years.
Love the silhouettes of the skimmers against that gorgeous backdrop

This is a lovely image of male friendship. The silhouette makes it even more impressive.

Indeed, I have not skimmed pebbles for many years but used to do it a lot with my brothers.

I like this image ...

Ineke, maybe it's a good idea for you to capture and upload the photo of your husband and son to your blog while skimmimg pebbles.

Thank you Suzanne, I'm flattered.

Babooshka, thanks for the great feedback.

Julie, I really enjoy reading your comments and the way you explain in a particular way. For that, I thank you.
