Can you see signs of hope for the future after a long period of difficulty?

Very dramatic shot, I like it very much.
Where is this taken?

I have hope, but everything old is new again. I have hope, but no real expectation. It is not up to one man. It is up to all men acting in cohort. The world had hope when Mandela was released. He epitomised hope. But the world did not act upon this hope.

We demand too much from one man and this burns them out ...

I certainly can!

This is such a beautiful photo!!
Hope is always with us, no matter what. It remains a big question mark if hope can turn in something concrete. So many delusions suffered by the world-wide collectivity seem to emphasize that question mark...!!

Yes, but not in my lifetime for the Philippines, I think.

In America there's a lot of talk about how much work we all have to do to support our new president. We are willing to do it. He can't do it alone, but we believe in his leadership.

I love the photo. Like ribs. I feel like Jonah inside the whale.

Glad you like it Eric, it was taken in an old still-standing caravanserai of Çakaloğlu Han in Kemeraltı, Izmir.

Julie, Marley, Diederick, Hilda, Petrea; thanks so much for your wonderful feedbacks. I really make use of your life experiences.

By the way Petrea, I really like your "Jonah inside the whale" metaphor.
